How did you meet?
First crossed paths in a lucky encounter at China White in Central London way back in 2008.
Was it love at first sight?
It was definitely love at first sight , also after meeting him we didn’t exchange numbers and bumped into each other two weeks later – it was fate.
Who proposed and how? Lovely details, please!
2013, within the tranquil beauty of Turks & Caicos, Jason orchestrated a proposal that would forever change our lives. He cleverly set the stage, telling me to prepare for dinner, but not without a curious prelude—a shot at 5 PM that definitely raised suspicions and questions in my mind of what was about to occur. But little did I know just how much thoughtful planning and precision Jason had put into the evening.
We strolled towards what I thought was a restaurant, I discovered a secluded cabana adorned with a table set for two, a private chef preparing a 15-course meal and a playlist created just for us.
Jason knelt with a ring and He asked, “Will you marry me?”
Did you have a theme for your wedding? How did it come about?
We went with a beach , outdoor theme, white. Due to the hot weather we wanted to bring the outside concept indoors using mirrors and reflections.
My wedding planner named our wedding reflections.
How did you find The Wedding Club? Tell us about that moment when you found and chose your dress – how did it make you feel when you put it on for the first time?
I actually found the wedding club through a friend as they purchased their dream dress from you guys too.
I went in with no expectation and was totally shocked by the beautiful dresses available to me. I went to another venue prior to me coming here which was slightly disappointing so I was very happy when I came across The Wedding Club.
My stylist gave me a quick consultation asking me what I liked what I didn’t like, I had an idea however the dress I chose was a total twist.
Once trying on the dresses I couldn’t make up my mind however she brought out a wild card which hadn’t launched yet, and was off the runway and due to go back to New York .
She told me it would be the perfect dress for where I was getting married therefore I’m so happy I listened to her and tried on. As soon as I put it in I knew this was the one , I came with my mother and as soon as we opened the curtain she gasped with excitement . This is when I knew I had chosen the right dress.
Which designer did you wear?
Berta.
Where is the suit from? Why was it the perfect fit?
The suit was from Morts and More, and was tailor made to be the perfect fit.
Did you have speeches? Who performed them?
We did! Many speeches from groomsmen, bridesmaids, my two daughters aged 8 and 13, father and mother of the groom.
How was the party?
The party was incredible, we had the amazing DJ Mexy from the MOBOS travel all the way from uk. He made sure all genres were played and it was a night to remember.
Wedding planning advice for brides to be?
Wedding advice I would give is budget properly as I did get over excited, and hire a planner as I had some mishaps along the way (my original venue cancelled). Make sure you relax and enjoy and most importantly enjoy your day as it goes very fast!!!
One moment you’ll never forget:
Wedding moment I will never forget is seeing everyone in one space that I love but most importantly seeing my two children who have waited years for this moment and my husband.
