How did you meet?
We met in Ibiza 10 years ago the year we married, we met at ocean beach, became good friends at first and the rest was history.
Who proposed and how? Lovely details, please!
Niki proposed on the day of my 12 week scan with our second child Rafi, we went to our favourite local restaurant The Ivy Cobham where he went bright red and finally popped the question in front of a big crowd. Niki is very shy and was completely out of his comfort zone, unfortunately he could not get down on one knee but the moment felt perfect to us.
Did you have a theme for your wedding? How did it come about?
Theme for our wedding was white, blush and gold. I was set on the theme for a very long time before we started planning and knew which flowers etc I wished for. Instagram and Pinterest played a big part in our wedding as you see so many inspiring images.
Location and how you found it?
The Fairmont Windsor Park came up on my instagram as a sponsor which was opening in January 2023, which I thought would be perfect as it was new, fresh and timeless.
How did you find The Wedding Club? Tell us about that moment when you found and chose your dress – how did it make you feel when you put it on for the first time?
I followed the wedding club for a very long time on social media, living in Surrey we tend to go to London a lot and dine at the Hawksmoor which I got to know where the shop was located. I tried on a few dresses to start with, white appliqué with long sleeves but the colour really washed me out.
I knew Berta would be the designer I would go for but when Melissa said to try on a blush colour dress me and my mum decided on the Berta Privee, the moment I looked in the mirror I had a huge smile on my face and tears in my eyes, from that moment i knew it was the one. It was completely different to what I had thought I would go for, it was everything and more, the colour, the fit, the style. I felt I was in my dream dress for my wedding day.

Where is the suit from? Why was it the perfect fit?
Niki and his best men brought their suits from Suit Supply, their service was fantastic. We would highly recommend them and the suits are made to measure.
Did you have speeches? Who performed them?
Niki’s best men Wayne and Dean performed the speeches and both did exceptionally well considering they were both so nervous!
Did you have a first dance? What song did you choose and why? How was the performance?
Our first dance was to Savage Garden – Truly Madly Deeply sung by the Function Band which was incredible!
How was the party?
The party was our main focus (apart from our vows haha) we wanted to make sure everyone was having the best time, drinks flowing, amazing band, from the moment we walked into the room our family and friends were up dancing!
Wedding planning advice for brides to be?
Do what you desire for your magical day and what makes you happy! I would highly recommend the Function Band and a hands on day planner so your day runs smoothly! I am so grateful for Syreeta, Fabienne and all of my suppliers.
One moment you’ll never forget:
A moment I will never forget is when I took a deep breath, turned and walked into the ballroom and saw Niki standing at the ceremony. The ceremony looked breathtaking with all the white and blush beautiful flowers. From that moment the nerves disappeared.
