How did you meet?
We met when I was a waitress in a bar he was a regular at. After a few fleeting conversations, he plucked up the courage to ask me on a date.
Was it love at first sight?
It was, we both knew from the moment we met we had found our one. Our song for walking down the aisle was love at first sight, Blame Jones.
Who proposed and how? Lovely details, please!
Dom proposed in front of all our close family and friends at a Halloween party at his sister Lorna’s house. It was fancy dress so all my engagement photos are in a Playboy bunny costume! Was not expecting it at all, that was his aim he didn’t want to propose when I was expecting it in a gorgeous location. Coming on to 7 years together I knew it was coming but didn’t expect it on Halloween.
Did you have a theme for your wedding? How did it come about?
Big White Wedding! We wanted to keep it clean and classic for the wedding with a real inclusive feel for our guests. From the moment everyone arrived we wanted them to feel welcome. The Grantley staff were perfect for this.
Location and how you found it?
Grantley Hall was a chance find after only viewing one other venue. We knew we wanted something grand and unique. The attention to detail and service is second to non there.
How did you find The Wedding Club? Tell us about that moment when you found and chose your dress – how did it make you feel when you put it on for the first time?
I went to 3 dress fittings at carefully selected boutiques. I only wanted to try certain designers and have appointments at boutiques renowned for their service and experience.
The Wedding Club stocked my dream label Berta, so I saved the best appointment till last. As soon as I tried on my gown I knew. It was everything I had ever wanted.

Where is the suit from? Why was it the perfect fit?
Signature bespoke in Liverpool, the best.
Did you have speeches? Who performed them?
We had A LOT of speeches. We are so blessed so many of our family members wanted to speak including; Father of the Bride, Step Father of the Bride,Mother of the Groom,Best man and Auntie of the Groom!
Did you have a first dance? What song did you choose and why? How was the performance?
We were driving back from a romantic weekend in the Lake District when Tiny Dancer by Elton John came on the radio. Dom looked at me and said ‘this is our song’. The function band performed it perfectly on the day. It was one of the best moments.
How was the party?
Unreal! The Function Band were one of the best wedding decisions we made. They went above and beyond to entertain our guests.
Wedding planning advice for brides to be?
Keep calm, no matter what you plan for your day, being surrounded by your friends and family will make it the best day of your life, enjoy the moment.
One moment you’ll never forget:
Walking into the ballroom as Husband and Wife and being announced as Mr & Mrs Rossi. We were on such a high after catching up on our own.
